* A public server is any software servers that accept
anonymous incoming socket connections. Server software of this nature includes, but is not limited to,
HTTP (web), anonymous FTP, Peer to Peer (bit torrent, et al.). Contrast this with systems configured to require passwords for use like SSH SMTP/POP, Timbuktu, VNC, and password protected FTP/web servers.
