Configuring PPP Dial-up Settings In OS X

Apple made OS X very simple to connect to the Internet. As we go through the setup you're only configuring PPP Connect.

Before you start, make sure you have the following setup.

  • You have activated an Internet account with us. If you have not signed up with us then please click here. If you have signed up with us please have your username / password information ready.
  • You must have an active phone line plugged into your modem which needs to be hooked up to your computer.

You will need to get into the Finder window. You can find the Finder icon in the Dock. Simply click on the Desktop icon in the Dock (It's the smiling Mac face.) and click on Apps in the top. In here you can find the PPP Connect. Once you find it, double click it to open it.

Now in the Name field enter your username. If you are a DSL customer your username will be DSLusername. If you are dialing our Red Line numbers your username will be username@incomenet.net.
In the Password field enter your password that you supplied when you signed up with L A Bridge Internet & DSL.

For the DNS Addresses field enter these two numbers 206.117.169.5 and 206.117.169.10 and in the Domain Name field enter labridge.com. Click Connect. See example image below.
