Configuring
Email and News on Internet Explorer 3.X/4.X
Internet Explorer is very
easy to use for email and news services.
Launch the Internet Explorer
"Internet Mail and News" application and select the preferences/options
icon. That will pop up a window that resembles Figure 1.
Now replace all the instances
of "username" with your username, also add your name where
requested. Fill out the rest of it so that it looks like Figure 1.

(Figure 1)
Great! Now select the "News" section from the left hand menu.
Select "Add" and name it "L A Bridge News Service",
then add news.labridge.com to the NNTP Host Field so that it looks like
Figure 2.

(Figure 2)
Great! That takes care
of the News. Now select the "Startup/Quit" menu item. Make
it look just like Figure 3.

(Figure 3)
Next go to the "Messages" menu item. There is not much here,
but this is where you can create a signature that will always be at
the bottom of your emails.

(Figure 4)
Now move on to the "Send/Receive" menu item and change the
settings to look just like Figure 5. Here you can also define custom
sounds for your email.

(Figure 5)
Now your set up for news and email. To get news you have to be in the
"Internet Mail and News" program. Once there, you can get
news by going to the "News" menu and select "Download
Complete News List"

go to the "Mail" menu and select "Receive Mail"
You can also go to the "Help" menu for more advanced information
on Email, News and the Internet Explorer Browser.
