Note: you are NOT currently connecting from an L A Bridge operated IP address. You *will not* be able to use smtp.LABridge.com to send outbound e-mail messages. Your IP address is 38.103.63.60. L A Bridge IP addresses start with either 66.81. 206.117. or 207.151.
You can only send e-mail using the smtp.LABridge.com server when you are connected to the L A Bridge network, either through dial-up connections or otherwise. If you are connecting using and alternate Internet provider you will have to find out what SMTP server they use from their system administrator. This is an anti-spam measure that we have been forced to take to protect our servers from becoming launching mechanisms for unsolicited commercial e-mail. |
| The mail server on the network which you are connected is probably called something like mail.yourdomain.com or (replacing youdomain.com with the domain name of the ISP). |
| To check mail on the L A Bridge system set your POP mail server to pop.LABridge.com as per usual. |
