Section 3: Connecting to the Internet

Launch ConfigPPP from the Control Panels and click Open. ConfigPPP will dial the L A Bridge phone number, authenticate your password, and connect you directly to the internet. You can now launch Netscape, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Eudora or any other internet clients. When you are finished with your on-line session click Hard Close in the ConfigPPP window to disconnect.

Section 4: Configuring your Email

Once you are connected to L A Bridge launch Netscape Navigator. Under the Options menu select Mail and News Preferences. Select Servers. In the Outgoing mail enter smtp.LABridge.com. Under Incoming Mail type pop.LABridge.com. The POP user ID should be your login name (i.e. mary, not mary@LABridge.com)

Next, select the Identity menu option and configure it with the appropriate information. It is not necessary to fill in the Organization box.
