Connecting your DSL modem to a computer or router

First, use a regular phone cable to connect the DSL Modem to the unfiltered side of the "Y" connector mentioned on the previous page. Next, use the provided ethernet cable to plug your computer into the DSL modem. If you have a router then you should plug the ethernet cable into the WAN port of that device. Make sure a light illuminates on the router when you plug the ethernet cable in.
