DSL for Windows 95/98

"Oooh, they're doing Internet on computers now!" -- Homer J. Simpson, circa 1998.

Hardware

You will need to install a network card in your computer if you do not have one already. If you don't know how to do this you may want to have a computer store install one for you. LA Bridge Internet can refer you to a consultant but we ourselves do not sell or install network cards. Microleague computers in Santa Monica stocks these cards and they offer LA Bridge customers a 10% discount on labor.

Once you have the network card installed, connect the DSL modem to your network card using the "crossover cable" which GTE should have supplied. Verify that you see three solid green lights on the DSL modem. You are ready to try to connect.
